Kathryn's lounge and xmas tree before the presents were opened. Lots for everyone, we were all spoiled.

Andrew bought the girls a big box filled with outdoor play equipment- a basketball hoop, frisbee, cricket set etc- Kaya fits in the box quite well don't you think?

Nana with her xmas toy cat- the fur's really realisitic- and makes a good substitute for a real pet!

Yana with xmas presents just opened- but she prefers the plastic tumbler!

Christmas Shopping

Whew! Christmas shopping- still some more things to buy but I think the bulk of it is done! I need to wait till payday as I'm in overdraft after today's shopping lol. The grandchildren are catered for, and my mum, and we posted off Phil and Magenta's presents this afternoon. That leaves Kath and Tahi and Tim and Sarah.
Got Andrew's present too- third season on DVD of That 70s Show.

So- Christmas Eve church carol service, stay at Kath's and look after girls while they go out, Christmas lunch with Kath and Tahi and Boxing Day with Tim and Sarah. New Year's weekend Sarah and I are sharing the girls for 2 days. 5 January I finish at my current job and 8 January I start at my new job. 12 January Andrew wants to celebrate his 21st birthday and 13 January we HAVE to move. Hmm I can see that most of my helpers with the move are going to be hung over... One of the ladies from work has offered to help me though.

So it's going to be a busy 4 weeks!

Summer weather

Every now and then we're getting summer weather- mind you last weekend the temps were cold enough to need the heater and electric blanket on. I guess it makes us appreciate the sunny weather more than we usually would! Isn't the beach beautiful when the sun is out!

It's nearly Christmas!

Only 2 weeks till Christmas! Remember the reason for the season- to celebrate the birth of Jesus!

It looks like Andrew and I will be going to Kathryn and Tahi's for Christmas day which will be great- we may even be there in the morning to see the girls open their pressies.

Did I tell you that Tim and Sarah are expecting another baby? It's due early July, so I'm going to be a grandma again! Little Yana will only be 20 months old then so they will be busy parents.

It's going to be a busy couple of weeks, but I'll try and post again before Christmas :-))
